David Wissmann, CCM, ENV SP

Vice President, Construction Management and Inspection Services

Biography

David creates vision, mission, values, as well as strategic plans that promote positive environments and identify barriers diminishing optimal performance in the department. He leads, guides, develops and implements planning and budgets to contribute to the profitability of the business. This includes pursuit of contracting opportunities, proposals, marketing and developing programs for staff enrichment, training and education. He also provides oversight of DFI’s drone services.

He serves on The Construction Management of Association of America (CMAA) National Board of Directors, is a CMAA Certified Trainer and is an advisor to the Baltimore Chapter. He is the recipient of CMAA awards and led teams to numerous local and national construction management awards. He also serves on the Construction Management Degree Advisory Board at Morgan State University.   

His engineering experience began while serving in the United States Army, Corps of Engineers, at the 101st Airborne Division. He is a combat veteran and proudly served during Operation Desert Storm.
