Project description

The Broadneck Peninsula Trail is the recipient of a 2021 Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) National and Baltimore Chapter for Construction Management Project Achievement Awards.

DFI provided Construction Management and Inspection (CM&I) services for this trail project, located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The scope of work included construction of over a mile long, 10-foot wide porous asphalt-paved shared-use trail along College Parkway, between Bay Day Drive and Green Holly Drive, that provides connectivity to shopping, parks, schools and a library. This phase is part two (2) of a five (5)-phase project that will connect Cape Saint Claire to the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail. When completed, the trail will connect to the American Discovery Trail, which extends from Point Reyes, California, to Cape Henlopen, Delaware.
