DFI Project Spotlight: The Little Grove Creek Stream Restoration Project in Washington County

DFI is honored to be a part of the Little Grove Creek Stream Restoration Project in Washington County. This is a design/build contract for a stream restoration project along the Little Grove Creek. The scope of work involves natural stream channel repair methods, including, but not limited to; channel modification (if needed), stream bank stabilization, step pools, riffles, vegetative plantings, brush layering, imbricated rip-rap installation, and erosion and sediment control measures. The project will improve water quality and upon successful completion the County will apply enhancement credits towards meeting targeted reduction in Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for the watershed. The work includes an upgrade to a pedestrian bridge. Greenridge Contractors is teamed up with ARRO engineering for the $600k project.
