DFI is supporting the Pedestrian Safety Action Plan (PSAP) Improvements along MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) from Northampton Drive to Powder Mill Road. This segment sits within the larger 2.5-mile MD 650 safety corridor from University Boulevard to Powder Mill Road.
This work program realigns four ramps at the I-495 interchange; adds a new asphalt shared-use path; widens sidewalks; adjusts curbs at key intersections; and upgrades pedestrian ramps, median refuges, driveway entrances, and bus stops to current ADA standards.
