On May 20th, DFI participated in the MDQI Outreach Subcommittees' Annual Spring Construction and Engineering Career Day at Coppermine Du Burns Arena in Baltimore.
The event introduced students to the various careers in the transportation industry. The event provided memorable experiences for each of the 340 student participants. DFI’s own drone pilot, Chris Walker, and DFI President, Ray Streib, attended. Chris performed flight demonstrations, discussed applications of drones for surveying and mapping, and related the training necessary to become a certified pilot.
