DFI provided the inspection for the Little Patuxent Interceptor Sewer Rehabilitation Project in Howard County. Rehabilitation included over 3 miles of 27" to 36" sewer, 36 manholes, and 2 new manhole stacks among other miscellaneous items. During curing, inspection often required 20 hour shifts to monitor the curing temperatures.
Construction was on a flood plain which required experience with Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) compliance. The project follows along the Little Patuxent River near Old Guilford Road.
DFI also conducted inspection in Murray Hill for an 8” diameter residential sewer main and lateral relining to clean outs. The whole project required relining of about 220 sewer service laterals/house connections.
