Project description

The campus for this state-of-the-art training academy was formerly a Nike Missile site for national defense. This project is a 2020 Construction Management of America (CMAA) Baltimore Chapter award-winning project and was featured for a site tour with numerous officials, police staff and others.

The project work included the following major items:

  • Construction of new buildings and accessory structures including an administration and classroom building, fitness center, water treatment building and dumpster enclosure.
  • Demolition of two (2) underground Nike Missile silos.
  • Site improvements included demolition of existing structures, earthwork, grading and paving, utilities, well water systems, sanitary septic disposal systems, Storm Water Management (SWM) and an athletic running track.

This project was featured by CMAA Baltimore Chapter as a project learning tour.
